Sympathy Card

Here is a sympathy card I made for my aunt who lost her mother this week.

We had just returned from the Great Lakes Mega Meet and met a awesome lady ~ Wendy Vecchi. She is a Sr. Educator for Ranger ~ the wonderful company that makes great inks that we love!
She showed us new new products and we fell in love with them.
So here is my card.  I inked the front of a white A2 card with Dusty Concord and Worn Lipstick using the ink blending tool.  Then stamped it with The Lord's Prayer background stamp from a jillian vance design in Coffee Archival Ink by Ranger.
I cut the flowers out at 2 inches and 1 1/2 inches from the Mother's Day Bouquet Cartridge in Kraft paper then inked them with Dusty Concord and Worn Lipstick also.  Added the Gold Adirondack Paint dabber to the edges of the flowers and a paper embossed button to the center also done in Worn Lipstick and gold accents.  The stem was a cut we had thrown away from another project that was left over.  I used Dusty Concord to ink it to soften the green.  I then stamped "With Heartfelt Condolences" from Prayerful Thoughts Stamp set by a jillian vance design in Black Archival Ink by Ranger.
Then misted with Perfect Pearls in Heirloom Gold for a finishing touch!

Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you!

Hey Bunny, We haven't chatted in so long!! I have been so busy, My son just was Confirmed in our church, and you know the usual sickness'. Please tell Jillian, that I would love to join her Bday Hop!!!! I will check my calender, we are giving my parents a huge 50th anniversary! We rented a boat and we are having a dinner cruise, and it is that weekend, so I will see if I can do both. Does she know what we will be making? If you could let me know, I could possibly make it in advance. Oh I almost forgot, I LOVE your tag!!!! Karen♥
