Because You Totally Rock

Well Today marks the end of Jillian's favorite after school activities.

Tavaci School of the Performing Arts, taught by Miss DeAnne.

This is Jillian's 10th year! 20 concerts later after tonight, we will all be crying like babies! ~ at least my mom, DeAnne and I will be, Jillian will be extremely sad too.

DeAnne and her family have become part of ours. We love them dearly!

So here is the card I made for her. I cried while I was making it!

Happy Graduation!

Well it is that time of the year! The Class of 2012 will be embarking on a new phase of their lives.

Sad thing is Jillian is Class of 2017 and it will be here before we know it!

Con{GRAD}ulations Stamp set for the sentiment and diploma then hand cut the diploma and pop dotted it onto the strip. Rusty Hinge Distress Marker for the ribbon on the diploma

Happy Birthday! & Gingham Challenge in the Moxie Fab World

Happy Birthday!

Design Team card today and

Moxie Fab World Gingham Challenge entry!

This was such a fun card to do! I have done it in different variations using the lingerie but NOW we have AJVD BRAND NEW {die}velop Foto Frames & {die}alogue Bubbles Die set! I just love this Die set!!! Looks like an old Polaroid and is the ACTUAL size of one too!

It just gave it the extra cuteness it needed!

I love to see what Moxie Fab World is doing so I have joined in on a couple of their challenges lately!

This one was the Gingham Challenge.

I die cut the {die}velop Foto Frame in Blue Gingham and the {die}alogue Bubble in Red card stock. Then did the lingerie from Forever Young Cricut Cartridge in those two paper choices also.

The {die}licious Flag Set was used for the sentiment layer and the stamps are both from

Celebrate Men Stamp Set (which I find I use just as much for WOMEN!)

Happy Mother's Day

Well I normally don't make or give my Mom a card for Mother's Day ~ it has become a tradition because she would cry every time I would! So I would say, keep that up and you won't get one next year!

So I try to keep them not so mushy!

This card I just whipped up tonight! Mom had asked for a new hummingbird feeder for Mother's Day. She loves hanging them out on the patio for the birds to enjoy and they are pretty entertaining to watch too. So then when Jillian and I went to get it, Jillian and I liked a different one then Mom had told us about. So we didn't get either one! So decided to give her the cash to pick it out herself.

She is also getting a new purse ~ you can never have enough purses! Come to think of it, it has black 3D flowers just like this one on it!

So I did this card with the MONEY in mind! It is our {die}signer Pocket die cut out of pink card stock, adhered to a Canvas Corp cream card base that was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. I stamped the sentiment from Celebrate Mom in Jet Black Archival ink. I then used the Canvas Corp papers and the Spellbinders Blossom Three die set to make the flower. Used a stylus to break up the paper a bit and a button in the center! The leaf is from the Mother's Day Bouquet Cricut Cartridge.

On the inside I used the poem from the stamp set and Happy Mother's Day.

Strike a Pose!

I am so excited to show you Jillian's brand new die set! We were trying to wait for them to come in to release it but just couldn't hold the excitement any more! This set is available for pre-order, shipping Mid June.

Here is a card I made using it . . .

This cool Kraft and Zebra print card is from Canvas Corp! I die cut the Foto Frame in white and used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Old Paper to distress it. Girl and sentiments were stamped in Black Archival ink and then flowers in her hair, were colored with Distress Markers in Worn Lipstick, Fired Brick, Spun Sugar and Peeled Paint. The flower and leaves were cut from the Cricut Mother's Day Cartridge {I use it a lot!} in Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Coredinations paper, leaves from Pine Needles. Sprayed each individual item {foto frame and flowers} with Perfect Pearls mist in Perfect Pearl.

Wedding Wishes!

Funny how I did my card and Jillian and Ruby and I never saw each others cards and they are similar cards ~ great minds think alike! The fun thing is to see the different color schemes and how different they make the cards look!

I used a white card base for my card

stamped it with the Quatrafoil Background stamp in Jet Black Archival, then added Crimson hearts from the {die}vine Wedding Cross Stamp set. The scripture for the background of the cross was stamped in Snowcap Adirondack and the Wedding Wishes and border is in Jet Black Archival all from the {die}vine Wedding Cross Stamp set.

The cross is from our {die}vine Cross Combo die set and so is the flower!

Cut 12 petals and use a stylus to break up the paper a big, inked the edges and glued them to a small circle for the base, cut three leaves in green the added Want 2 Scrap bling to the center!

Sexy Tractor?

Hi, Bunny here and it is my Design Team Day with SVG Attic

When I saw Jessica had designed a farm set ~ I knew exactly what I would use!

This set is called Down on the Farm

I am a farm girl at heart! Grew up on a 500 acre Dairy farm and he had International Harvesters ~ no green tractors on our farm! Although my maternal grandfather and uncle was all about those "green" deeres!

So for my card I used Kraft paper for the barn and distressed it with Barn Door and Black Soot (roof) and white for the trim distress with Old Paper.

The Flag is from A Jillian Vance Design's {die}licious Flag Die Set and stamped using A Jillian Vance Design Down on the Farm stamp set, which is one of the first sets Jillian designed last year when she started her stamp business.

I added some Black Want 2 Scrap Bling for the smoke rings and some silver Bling for the wheels!

Mr. & Mrs. & a Sneak Peek!

Mr. & Mrs. Card

Today you are getting a sneak peek of one of our upcoming dies!

For this card I cut black card stock then strips of red for the stripes. I ran the die thru the Cuttlebug using Canvas Corp paper, the cream center is from the die cut also I just turned it to the back side!

The Moustache and Lips are from Mr. & Mrs. Moustache Stamp Set and the Just Married is from the {die}vine Wedding Cross stamp set. Isn't that little speech bubble cute ??? Also included in the die set too!

Charm is from Charming Occasions with the {die}lightfully Charming Circle die, Red Rinkle Ribbon and a Black Pear pin!

Jillian and Friends Blog Bash!

For my card, I was at a total loss, then at 11:30 pm Wednesday night ~ it hit me!

Die cut two of the same size Labels 1 out of pearl paper and scored the back on 1 inch from the top then adhere the two together, makes like an easel for the card.

I used Spellbinders Grand Labels 1 for the card shape

Spellbinders Jewel Goddess dies by Julianna Hudgins {our sweet friend!}

Spellbinders Standard Circles for the tissue paper circles that I folded and scrunched for the ruffle of the skirt. Spellbinders Rose Creations by Donna Salazar for the flowers with rhinestone brads in the center.
