I Moustache you . . .

I Moustache you . . .
I love making Halloween cards! Do I ever send them ~ no we keep them for our displays but they are just so much fun!

This one features one of our new sets you will see the Design Team use in next week!
I used my favorite ~ well they all are . . . {die}velope Foto Frames and {die}alogue Bubbles die set and the {die}namic Duo die set too! Love that shape and it makes a PERFECT tab ~ Happy Accident by us!
I stamped the Burlap Background with Memento Tangelo Ink, then used Ranger Archival Jet Black to stamp the Foto Frame using the coordinating Foto Frame Stamp set ~ which has a dashed line to line up the Foto Frame die to cut perfectly every time!
Then used Funny Fall Faces for the Pumpkin, face parts and sentiments. Matted it with Black and Orange card stock and "taped" it on with Smash Book Black and White polka dot Washi Tape!
Makes for a fun card or even a refrigerator magnet!!!
Thanks for joining us today!
Blessings,
Bunny

So here is my card!  It also includes a sneak peek of a new A Jillian Vance Design product.
For the stitching and sentiment I used A Jillian Vance Design Stitches Stamp Set stamped in Coffee Archival Ink.

Happy Blogiversary to Annette!

Happy Blogiversary to Annette!
She is celebrating her 2 year Anniversary of having her blog ~ A Spoon Full of Sugar!

Welcome, if you are coming from Karen's blog:  http://thebalddragonfly.blogspot.com/  if not you can start the hop at Annette's blog:  A Spoon Full of Sugar and hop on along!

So for my project I did an anniversary card for my parents who just celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary!

For my card I used Canvas Corp Black and White polka dot paper ~ love it!

Then I used A Jillian Vance Design's {die}vine Cross Combo Die set and stamped the cross background from the {die}vine Sympathy Stamp set ~ yes, from the sympathy one but I LOVE that swirly cross!  using Black Archival Ink.

The Anniversary Blessings is from Happy Anniversary Stamp set  stamped on a die cut from AJVD {die}namic Duo die set and then topped off with some Want 2 Scrap Black baby bling!

The sentiment on the Zipper strip at the bottom is also from Happy Anniversary Stamp set.  It was die cut using AJVD The Zipper {die}vice die and makes a perforated strip you can rip off to reveal a secret sentiment ~isn't that COOL!!!!  Open here stamp is from The Universal Zipper Stamp Set.  The heart border punch is from Martha Stewart.

The bells on the charm hanging from a AJVD Black Pear Pin is from Charming Occasions stamp set and white seam binding for the bow!

My parents love to eat out so I got them a gift card  to their favorite restaurant! (not shown in the photo) and put it in their {die}signer Pocket die cut also cut out of the Black and White polka dot paper.  Sentiment is also from  Happy Anniversary Stamp set .

Please leave a comment, follow this blog and become a fan of A Jillian Vance Design on Facebook for a chance to win a new set of stamps Funny Fall Faces ~ not even released yet!!!

Back to School!

Back to School!
Well I can't believe next Wednesday Jillian goes back to school! 8th grade as a matter of fact! Where have the years gone!  Makes me so sad I can't hold her and rock her all day but look at what she has accomplished in the last 13 years, I am so very proud of her.
So for my back to school project I did a Post It Note Holder!
We did a make and take at the 3M booth CHA 2011 and made these so i came home and reproduced it and the instructions to go with them.  They are very simple and FUN to decorate!
Here I am using just yellow paper, and the Notebook Background Stamp using the Summer Distress Ink in Salty Ocean ~hence the distress look in the lines of the stamp.  Had I used Archival Ink, they would be crisp and straight.
Then I cut a {die}licious Flag out of Jillibean Soup paper to add a touch of blue to match the ink, closed the holder and stamped the paper clip on over the flap.
Very simple and easy to make using a strip of paper, a score board and a post it note pad!

If you would like the directions to make your own post it not holder ~ please leave your email in the comments section and I will gladly email them to you.

Foto Frames!

You make me Smile!

This card makes me smile! I love this camera image from the Foto Frames Stamp Set with the trendy Chevrons!!!  And this stamp set also includes an outline for the {die}velop Foto Frames & {die}alogue Bubbles die set.  There are so many possibilities as you could stamp a background stamp, then stamp the outline and using the guides on the stamp, die cut the perfect frame!
I also used the {die}licious Flag die for the Black and White Polka Dots ~ I folded the paper in half and carefully placed it to make the flags longer than the actual die!

Foto Frames Stamp Set
Instructions to stamp and die cut the Foto Frame outline:  Choose your paper, can be printed or plain.  Decide if you want a background stamp ~ AJVD Burlap Background looks great with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  Stamp the large Foto Frame stamp then you will see the dashed line which will be cut off by the die . . . place the die in side that outline centered, use removable tape ~ we like Post it tape ~ and run thru the die cutting machine and TaDa . . . it comes out perfect!!!

{die}licious Flag Die Set
{die}velop Foto Frames and {die}alogue Bubbles
Have a great weekend!

Santa Baby Necklace

Hi, well we are home from CHA and full of inspiration! Today I am showcasing a necklace Jillian and I made as a team!

I love how Julianna Hudgins uses Shrinky Dink material in a lot of her projects so I thought I would try it too!
I found it at Michaels and also you will need Staz-On ink.
First I stamped  the frame from the Foto Frames Stamp Set in Staz-On Silver ink onto the Black Shrinky Dink material and added Picture Perfect from the {die}velop Everyday Fotos stamp set.  Then using AJVD {die}velop Foto Frames and {die}alogue Bubbles die set I cut out the black material.  I then stamped the Santa Baby image from the Santa Baby stamp set onto the white Shrinky Dink sheet then cut it with the Foto Frames die also.  I colored in the hat using water color markers.
Then put them on a brown paper bag on a cookie sheet in the oven and followed the Shrinky Dink directions.
They will curl ~ don't be alarmed, as they will flatten out as they curl and you can carefully help them get flatter too!
Then Jillian took Black Pear Pins and started added glass seed beads to them and flower charms to 4 of them to compliment the flower in the Santa Baby's hair.
And there you have it . . . another use for the Pear Pins and a fun way to use the stamps and dies!
Jillian wore this at CHA and got lots of compliments!
