My Pink Stamper Father's Day Challenge

Here is my entry in My Pink Stamper's Father's Day Challenge.  It is a pretty basic card as masculine cards are just so hard to come up with.  The argyle background was cut from  the Just Because Cartridge at 5 1/4 which fits perfectly on an A2 card.  then added the burgundy rectangle for the stamp in which I used Martha Stewart Silver ink.

Dancing Paper Doll

My daughter did her first solo this year in Dance. It was a Ballet to the Can Can. So for her "Good Luck Gift", I made her a Paper Doll of herself!

I used the Dress Up Paper Doll cartridge then did the fit of page for the black out body. Used my largest Peachy Keen Stamp. Then added the black dress cut for the 11 1/2 doll body then cut a pink, yellow and blue dress at 12 inches and cut the top off of the yellow and blue. I left the whole pink dress in tact so the ruffles of the sleeves would show and cut the black dress sleeves off.
I then cut another blackout body in black and cut the arms off to make her gloves ~ couldn't find any that would work otherwise. Then added the bracelet and a ribbon with Stickles for her choker. Also hand cut the pink inset and "laced" ribbon just like her costume. Of course she needed a garter too!
For the hair I did the bow then a flower from Plantin Schoolbook cut at 1 and 1 1/2 and inked and layered. I cuttlebugged the hair with Divine swirls. Her name was done in Gypsy font and transfered from the Gypsy.

Came out pretty cute if you ask me and at 12:30 am, not bad!!!

My Newest Creation!

Not only do I run with scissors everyday at work I also love to Sew! Especially when I am stressed, sewing is my relaxation!

My favorite colors are Black and White ~ can you tell ? ? ?
And because I am a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon ~ I bleed Black and White too :)

I just love to make Purses!

My favorite designs are from Joan Hawley at Lazy Girl Designs right here in Central Ohio!!!
She is a very talented designer and also great with quick and dirty techniques!
This is her newest design is Margo.

She is the perfect size and has a built in zipper that is such a snap to sew in! Thanks to her wonderful detailed instructions this purse could be done in an evening!

It features two deep front pockets for your phone and sun glasses, a smooth back and the inside is filled with additional pockets and of course the zipper holds it all in!

School Secretary Gift Set

I made this card pack for our school secretary. She has a thankless job and I wanted to reward her just for being a sweetie!
I used the bird from Home Decor Solutions cartridge, the branch is from Winter Wonderland and used a Martha Steward punch for the doily strip.
I put 4 cards in the pack and made a top band for a more "professional looking" gift set.

Have a good one and leave a comment if you wish!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #11 ~ Colors of the Rainbow

This year Jillian is doing her Ballet dance to True Colors by Cyndi Lauper. That was my inspiration for the Colors of the Rainbow card.
I used Joys of the Season for the dancer and accented it with blue just like her ballet costume is, I used the colors of the rainbow in the ribbons.
Added the "Lil Dancer" stamp in Martha Stewart Silver.

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #10 ~ May Day

This was the MOST fun card! I started with a hot pink square Cuttlebugged with Swirls, then added the ribbon from Hobby Lobby. The the leaves are from Storybook, Flower from Plantin Schoolbook ~ Thank You to Marta at http://garbonzobeenz.blogspot.com/ who holds classes to learn to create these wonderful flowers! And my bee is from Walk in the Garden.

I don't think I will send this to ANYONE ~ it is MINE!!! I just love this card!

Thanks for visiting and please leave a comment!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #9 ~ Take Shape

This is my "Take Shape" entry. I actually "threw" it together in Design Studio in about 5 minutes. It comes from Christmas Cheer and after all the Flowers and such I wanted to think about Christmas again! So I did the light bulb and the cut and pasted it and also flipped it to weld together.
Used a Peachy Keen Stamp and tada ~ I was done! I am running out of time so they are getting more basic :)

Hope you enjoy.

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #8 ~ "Love my Color"

Here is my "Love My Color" card. It was a fun one too!
I used Plantin Schoolbook for the flower that was Cuttlebugged with Swiss dots and inked around the edges. The Celebrate Courage came from the Pink Journey cartridge and the ribbon was a svg file from the net, can't remember where.
I used a 3-D dot to attach the flower to the ribbon.
Bless you all that are fighting and keep up the good fight!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #7 ~ Hey Dad

Just lvoe this card! My creative thoughts just flowed with this!
Since my hubby is an avid softball player and coach for his 35 and over league, I decided to use Everyday Paperdolls cut at 4 inches and the diamond cut at 3 1/2. His colors are Orange and Black along with the W for his team.

Let me know what you think and leave me a comment!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #6 ~ Kids Craft, Too

I am just loving these challenges! There are times I walk into my craft room with NO ideas. These have really inspired me to think out side the box for all of them!

I used Everyday Paper Dolls cut at 4 inches with a Peachy Keen Stamp from Dolly Dumplins Collection.
I also used the Mickey Font cartridge for the Mickey hat, Mickey logo on the bag and the Disney tag with a red heart brad.
An enjoy stamp completes the card.
This would be great for a child on her way to a Disney Vacation!

Please leave a comment I would love to hear from you!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #5 ~ Teacher Appreciation Days

This is my entry for Teacher Appreciation Days. Jillian's favorite teacher is her Tavaci School of the Performing Arts teacher, Miss DeAnne.

I used the Storybook cartridge for the scalloped squares at 2 inches for the white and 2 1/2 for the burgandy. Also DCWV muisc paper from Joann's. The music notes are from the Hannah Montana cartridge.

You can personalize the inside how ever you wish!

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #4 ~ "I Like You the Least"

Ok, so I do like Preserves but hardly use it! So I did an anniversary card ~ The Perfect Pear"!

I cut the pear at 3 inches, the tag at 4 1/2. Came out pretty cute if you ask me!
Very "quick and dirty" again!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #3 ~ "Thinking Outside the Box"

Here is my entry for Challenge #3. I wasn't even going to do this one because I was totally stumped! But after throwing away a Capri Sun juice box, it then occurred to me to use it! But didn't know what for. So I cut it apart, washed it and let it dry over night then took it to the craft room and pondered . . .
This is what I came up with a cute diamond ring from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge! Cut at 2 1/2 the Capri Sun box was cut perfectly with the Cricut! Added the Mr & Mrs stamp then found the ribbon in my stash too.
I just love this simple card, it turned out great and was very "quick and dirty"! (that is hairdresser speak!)

I would love to hear your comments!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #2 ~ "Getting Scrappy"

Here is my "Getting Scrappy" entry:
I used the Once Upon a Princess cartridge and cut the cupcake at 3 1/2 inches. Cupcake border punch is from Martha Stewart Collection and rounded the corners of the punch and background paper with the Corner Chomper. Added a touch of Stickles to the frosting and TaDa ~ it is a scrappy card ~ a little cake and lots of fun!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #1 ~ Mother Dear, I Love You So

Here is my first challenge card for My Pink Stampers, National Scrapbook Day Challenge #1.

I have a very good friend whose Mother loves her cats and is a very sophisticated lady!  So I designed this card using the Forever Young, Animal Kingdom and Home Decor cartridges.

On the Animal Kingdom cartridge I used cat #1 with the border selected, cut three times in each of the colors needed and hand trimmed to fit.  Then I used chalk to blend in some colors to match the actual cats she has.
With the Forever Young gal, I Cuttle Bugged the outer layer of the dress and then inked it to match the underneath layer.  It needed a little something so I did the chandelier in the corner from Home Decor and added a bow.

I hope you like this feel free to leave a comment.
