MPS ~ It's Cold Outside Challenge

I just love My Pink Stamper's new stamps and she is having a challenge for a chance to win her Winter Punnies!
So even as tired as I am from a day at the pool, I magically came up with a card for the challenge.

Using the Hello Kitty Greetings I cut the snowman at 3 1/2 using the black out feature for the white and the regular one in black then cut pieces as necessary.  I used a Peachy Keen Winter Faces stamp.  For the side border I used a Martha Steward Aspen snowflake punch, using a white strip and then topped it with the matching strip from the background paper.  For the corner, the corner punch that comes with that punch set was used and then topped it off with the Let it Snow stamp.  I cuttlebugged the background with the snowflake folder and added the punched out snowflakes left over from my corner and strips to finish it off.

Pretty cute if I do say so myself! For someone that is wiped out from the summer sun today.

Back to School!!!

My daughter is trying something new this year.  After a very frustrating 5th grade year, she will be doing her schooling on line with K12 and Ohio Virtual Academy.  She will be able to accelerate herself since the school after many hours of testing and proven results.

So since OHVA is a public school, she still has a teacher ~ I am her Learning Coach.  So she wanted a teacher card and even thought she is the Princess and the Paper, she wanted me to do her card!  So here it is.
I used Graphically Speaking for the globe and  Just Because Cards for the apple.

Here is to a GREAT school year!

Elegant Birthday Card

For this card I used the Summer in Paris cartridge.  I used the Blackout in Black behind the cake even though I knew I was going to use the Black background also, just to give it another dimension.
Added the bow and the Celebrate in Style to finish off this Elegant Birthday card.
