Go Bucks!

Well since the Buckeyes are in the Final Four on Saturday, I wanted to make a little project for the occasion!

And I just got my Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist today so wanted to show it off! Specifically ordered these colors {Crimson and Graphite} for our Ohio State Projects!

I cut a card out of black card stock and applied Beetle Black Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist for the base. Using white paper I used the background stamp from A Jillian Vance Design Ohio Game Day stamp set with Jet Black Archival Ink and then cut with the Emerald Cut {die}mond Nested Diet set. I then cut the inside out with the smaller die to create the Block O. The leaves were cut out of white paper also and I used Pine Needles Distress Ink on them along with Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold Mist and the buckeye is a 3/4 inch circle punch out of brown paper with the Heirloom Gold mist too.

For the sentiment layer I used the part that was cut out of the middle of the Block O, stamped Go Bucks on it and then sprayed with Crimson Glimmer Mist. The Black Archival ink will still show thru the Glimmer Mist which is such a neat concept!

Then used A Jillian Vance Design Buckeye Blend Custom Divine Twine and Rinkle Ribbon to top it off!

Celebrate the Journey of the Sneak Peeks

Whimsical Journey

Mini Whimsical Balloons

These two Hot Air Balloon Stamp sets were inspired by a sweet lady and turned out "better than she ever expected!!" They were so fun to do! They coordinate with our Emerald Cut {die}mond Nested Die set and the sentiments fit the {die}namic Duo also. On the Mini Whimsical Balloon set, the bottom right hand corner image is a Make Your Own Balloon (check out Bunny's Card yesterday)! Just add a 2 inch circle and that small line to create your own balloon. Or make it 3D by adding three circles layered together. Just two FUN sets! That fit a variety of occasions!

Everyday Flags This stamp set coordinates with our {die}licious Flag Set, see those dotted lines around the flag stamps? Those are die placement lines. You center your die within those lines and it should cut perfectly ~ we use removable tape to hold it in place. and those words will fit with the flag folded in half. Also the icons will fit the Endless Borders stamp set shown below! and also the Epiphany Crafts Round 14 as well as in the circles of the Flags.

{die}licious Flag Set Coordinates with Everyday Flags Stamp set and can be used soooo many ways! Add the pole for a flatter layer or use a tooth pick or a stick pin from the jewelry making department. Or fold over twine or ribbon to create a banner or use as it for a sentiment lay which a lot of our previous stamp sets fit!

Endless Borders This stamp set was created on the airplane on the way home from CHA! Jillian decided she wanted to add a border stamp to her line and we love this one! It was well received by the Design Team that is for sure! It was designed to be connected for how ever long you need, so the extra icons were added.

{die}luxe Jewelry Tags These {die}luxe Jewelry Tags are sooo cute! They coordinate with several of our sets that have little words such as Peepster and A {Little}Love.

Soaring by . . .

After Jillian was featured in Paper Creations Spring issue, we received a request for hot air balloons.

This sweet lady sent us some of her sketches and doodles for what she was looking for. I went into Illustrator and created this stamp set with her in mind. We didn't use her actual artwork but used her ideas and vision for what she wanted us to create! We loved that this customer had a request ~ you are welcome to email your requests to us too! That was so fun!

Jillian had no problem coming up with sentiments for this set and actually we ran out of room for all of what she came up with! ~ so we have second set!

Here is my tag for today's feature of the Whimsical Journey Stamp Set

This is a Ranger manila tag, I stamped the Balloon, sentiments and border from Endless Borders Stamp set ~ another new AJVD set! in Black Archival Ink.

Endless Borders Stamp set was designed to use on a card or a page, they can be extended to any size, either by repeating the stamp or using the extra icons to extend them.

We just got the Tim Holtz Distress Markers in so thought this we perfect to try them out! So beware, this is my first color job! {and it ins't that perfect!}

I used numerous of my favorite colors like Dusty Concord, Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick, Broken China, Mustard Seed, Vintage Photo for the balloon. Then I went and inked the tag with Broken China, Faded Jeans and Worn Lipstick. Over sprayed with Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls Mist ~ wanted the Turquoise PP Mist but sprayer wasn't working!

The charm is from our NEW {die}lightfully Charming Circle die and stamp set is Occasionally Charming! Cut out of a manila file folder, stamped sentiment in Black Archival and inked with Worn Lipstick and Dusty Concord. Sprayed with Heirloom Perfect Pearls Mist and Pin it on with a AJVD Pear Pin. Hand dyed Rinkle Ribbon for the bow.

Graduation Card

I love how this card turned out. I used SVG Attic's Tent Card Collection, includes a stand for the bottom of the card so it stands on its own!

The one stamp on the Mini Whimsical Balloons set lets you build your own balloon!!! I used 2 inch circles for that and adhered them back to back to make it 3D. I then had an extra layer for the front of the card so I cut it the same color and stamped it in Whisper White Craft ink from Stampin Up using our Endless Borders stamp set.
Then used Divine Twine to make the ropes for my balloon and topped it off with a {die}lightfully Charming Circle with the Congratulations Stamp and Graduation Hat icon in the center from Charming Occasions stamp set! and pinned it on with a AJVD Silver Pear Pin

Graduation Card

I love how this card turned out. I used SVG Attic's Tent Card Collection, it has several different options for cards! It is so easy and versatile to use and also includes a stand for the bottom of the card so it stands on its own!

The one stamp on the Mini Whimsical Balloons set lets you build your own balloon!!! I used 2 inch circles for that and adhered them back to back to make it 3D.

Is it s Flag or is it a Banner?

I love this new set!!! Jillian designed this back in October! But good things take time and the design/prototype process is months long :) So NOW introducing the Flag/Banner die and Everyday Flags stamp set! First up my Ohio State Layout using the following AJVD {die}signs: Emerald Cut {die}mond for the Ohio State Block O, {die}signer Pocket to hold the tickets and {die}licious Flag set for the banner. I used Labels 8 for the photo and background. Stamp used was Ohio Game Day. Canvas Corp paper was used ~ love that stuff!!!

This card I made for a very special little lady. She is the daughter of a very good friend of mine and she turned 16 last week! She was born with Down Syndrome and a heart defect. The first six months of her life we weren't sure God was going to let them keep her. Just a very trying time for her parents and siblings of medical issues one after the other. Well 16 years later she is a happy healthy teenager in our local high school! This card is for her! I used Canvas Corp papers! Again! AJVD {die}licious Flag Set folded over Jewelry pins AJVD {die}signer Pocket Money Money Stamp Set Everyday Flags Stamp Set for the "Sweet" word A {Little} Love Stamp set for the Happy Type Star Font for the 16

This card is one we are doing for a class in Akron in April. We used the {die}licious Flag set for the sentiment layer. A very simple but fun card that takes 4 - 3inch circles folded in 4ths {I used dictionary paper}, 4 - 2 1/2 inch scalloped circles folded in 4ths and a 3/4 circle or button for the center. Sentiment is from Flower Power Stamp Set. Paper used on this card is from Prima.

This is a very simple but elegant card! I cut 10 layers of black tissue paper with the scalloped circles Spellbinders dies. The sentiment is from Happy Anniversary and stamp in Silver ink on one of our Emerald Cut {die}mond die cuts. The flag is our {die}licious Flag set and the outline is from the Every Day Flags and the numbers from Swirly Monograms.

It was embossed with the new Spellbinders M-Bossabilities.

As you can see this has so many possibilities! Just leave it up to your imagination!

Celebrate Jillian!

Jillian has had this idea for a date stamp from day one, it just never got finished up!

So glad it is here now!

So many possibilities for Card makers and Scrapbookers alike! Use for a birthday bard or Scrapbook layout to journal your Perfect Day!

It fits the Spellbinders Standard Circles Nestabilities!

I used Canvas Corp papers and card base for this pretty birthday card for Jillian!

Pink Zebra Flower was cut from Blossom Three Spellbinders Dies.

The Date stamp was stamped with Coffee Archival ink then cut with the Spellbinders Standard Circles Nestabilities die. I Stamped Celebrate in Coffee Archival ink and wrote Jillian with a Vintage Photo Distress Marker. It is from the new Perfect Day Stamp Set. (entire set will be revealed on Friday)

The flags used on this card are from this release and will be featured tomorrow!

I used Magenta Hue (pink) and Coffee inks on the flags.

Pink Rinkle Ribbon tops it off!

Happy Easter Eggs!

That was always what my Grandma Bartlett would say "Happy Easter Eggs" So Jillian had to include it on her Peepster stamp set! A blast from the past, she has been gone since 1977 and I miss her so much!

I cut out the Egg from Doodle Charms Cricut cartridge at 5 inches and the pink one at 4 inches.

I used a Sizzix embossing folder on the blue base layer. Then stamped in yellow, blue and orange Archival inks for the swirly eggs. Cut grass from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge at 2 inches and added half of our new upcoming flag die for the bottom part to allow the space for my sentiment.

The white is a die cut from {die}namic Duo {die}signs by A Jillian Vance Design!

Then stamped the Peep in Archival ink too. added Rinkle Ribbon and Ta. . .Da. . .

Little Bun in the Oven!

Oh Little Boy Blue! Loving this Little Bun in the Oven place card and pick! This stamp set is Perfect for that Baby Shower of either a Boy or a Girl.

Spellbinders Labels 8 is perfect backdrop for the Oven on this set! Then I put the name on a new soon to be released item ;) The little circle stamp fits a 1 1/2 inch circle punch and then backed by a 2 1/2 inch scalloped circle punch!

This new set just darling!

Here is the story behind the set: Jillian's cousin was planning a baby shower for her friend. So she gave Jillian the theme, and wanted some images cut out with the Cricut so she could use them on her "pop corn boxes". So rather than designing them to be cut out with the Cricut, Jillian designed them as a stamp set for her which coordinates with her Emerald Cut {die}mond Nested Die set! Well it turned out soooo cute!!! So we are having this Mini Release to honor Karen who is having a baby on Tuesday March 21st!!! So I will have a great nephew to add to my great niece!

And also in this release is the {die}verse Tag! When we needed a name I asked Jillian what are we going to name this thing ~ I had no idea. I said {die} . . . . and she was like {die}verse Tag. And so that is the perfect name for it as it has so many uses!

My Bird Cage . . .

Hi, today I am featuring the bird cage from the Welcome Spring SVG set by SVG Attic.

This is all done with Kraft paper! I love Kraft paper so when we all decided to feature this set, I knew I would be using Kraft paper and Tim Holtz Distress inks!

Distress Inks used:
1. Pine Needles, Gathered Twigs for the birdcage sprayed with Perfect Pearls mist in Sparkling Sunflower.
2. Black Soot, Orange Marmalade and Mustard Seed for the butterfly with a
rhinestone brad in the middle to hold to top together. All topped with Sparkling Sunflower Perfect Pearls mist.
3. Broken China and Peeled Paint on the flowers and Tattered Angels Spray in Blackberry Cordial for the top flower piece and a rhinestone brad for the center.
4. Leaves are Pine Needles with Sparkling Sunflower Perfect Pearls Mist.
The flowers came from Give a Hoot Collection
The leaves came from the apples in this file from Fall Harvest Favor Boxes

Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend and so are You!

Both of these cards were created using the Emerald Cut {die}mond Nesting Die Set and the {die}monds, Diamonds Stamp set. Both give totally different looks.

The first card dressed in Black, I wanted to give the effect of a Emerald Cut Diamond ring. I layered Silver glitter paper with black to give it a 3 D effect and pop dotted the top two layers. I used Silver pigment ink for the border and sentiment.
I cut a strip of the silver glitter paper and added the Rinkle Ribbon on top.

You are a Gem of a Friend
For my second card dressed in White, I used Emerald glitter paper and Library Green Archival ink for the border and sentiment. Also Want 2 Scrap Baby Bling to accent the sentiment ~ it just fits perfectly! I then pop dotted the top layer to give it dimension and used wire edged ribbon for the bow.
