A Star is Born

I just love the nativity scene from O Holy Night stamp set and it works with so many things, like AJVD {die}velop Foto Frames and Spellbinders™ Pennants and Lacey Pennants dies too.

This one I used Authentic paper for the background then sage and a rich red card stock, die cut the photo frame from white and used Perfect Pearls Mist in Heirloom Gold.

The sentiment is from {die}velop Baby Fotos stamp set.

Tis the Season

 Snowflakes and Snowmen are a favorite of mine!

So using Just Snowflakes stamp set, I stamped the white card stock with Cobalt Archival Ink, then the navy card stock with Snow Cap Adirondack ink.  The {die}velop Foto Frames was cut out of the Navy card stock and then I stamped the Snowman from Winter Wishes on the white also in Cobalt Archival Ink, Tis the Season to be Jolly is in Snow Cap as well.  The Let it Snow is from Snowflake circles stamped on our {die}lightfully Charming Circle and a silver Pear Pin.

Happy Accident:  Another Use for {die}namic Duo Die Cuts

So today while we are preparing for the Crafters Home Craft Mania and Vendor Faire which is the Sunday before CHA begins, I needed dividers for our catalog that shows the actual sized stamp sets.  Jillian and I had purchased some from Staples but we needed more than the package offered.  Then I looked at our {die}namic Duo die set . . . Voila I have tabs!  And Elegant ones to boot!

What I did was print out the names I wanted on the tabs on white card stock then centered the die over where I wanted the names on the tabs and cut. Just used adhesive on them and TaDa . . . pretty little tabs!!

This would work great on altered albums, mini albums or even behind a card layer with an edge sticking out with a sentiment on it. 

Sometimes we only look at things they way they were designed ~ I know I only see the trees and not the forest most of the time!  But in desperation . . . God gives us a vision!

Happy Birthday USA!

Happy Birthday USA!

Well it sure has been a crazy week here, getting ready for CHA then out electric was out for 48 hours.  But there are still some without and they are saying it might be Sunday before they get it back on which will make 9 days for some!  Praying for all the linemen working from several states to get everyone back up and running!

So here is my Red, White and Blue card!

Recipe:

•   Basically Birthdays stamp set ~ which I am totally loving ~ for the cupcake and Happy Birthday on the {die}luxe Jewelry Tags.  
• For the USA I used Type Star Alphabet stamp set.
• "...these colors don't run sentiments is from Let Freedom Ring Stamp Set
• Canvas Corp papers
• Silver Pear Pin
