Rustic Christmas Card!

Happy Monday, Bunny here! 

So you have probably already noticed, that I love to use black and kraft papers, they just work so well together and show off this pretty cardinal too!

So many things about this card remind me of my dad. He was a logger and timber man and loved feeding the birds and building them houses. One summer he built several that my mom and Jillian painted! 

We are blessed to have come from a crafty, artistic family. 

This card would make a great Christmas card that looks more complicated than it really is.
Houndstooth is such a classic design and also makes a great stencil. Any of Jillian's cover plates can be cut and used as stencils so dual duty! She has also lowered her cover plate prices to a very affordable, $21.95.
The Rustic Wood Slice and pine does give the rustic, homey feel of winter! The sentiment is stamped with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink from the Cardinals Appear Stamp Set.

Thankful Autumn Pumpkin

Hello Happy Monday! Bunny here and I can't believe this is the last week in August!
But I think fall is a favorite season of mine where the air is crisp and leaves are beautiful!

Today I have an easy water color pumpkin card over on the AJVD Blog!

Using the Autumn Pumpkin Stamp Set and my MISTI, I stamped and embossed using WOW Embossing Ink, and Wow Embossing Powder in Primary Black, then water colored using Catherine Pooler Inks, Tim Holtz Detailer Water Brush and Ranger Watercolor Paper shown below.  I started with the Tiki Torch and kept layering on with Orange Twist and then Mandarin Spice.

It's a Nativity CARD!

Hello, Bunny here, so what did you think of the new release?

Today, I am showing how the Nativity Bookmark can be used for a card as well!

I took the Checkerboard Cover Plate and cut it along one of the vertical lines to create a panel to cover half the card, then added Fresh Cut Pine and  Layered Poinsettia using the Poinsettia Die Set that is a classic and can also be cut in yellows to make a fall sunflower!

I embossed the Nativity Bookmark with Wow Primary Black Embossing Powder using Wow Embossing Ink. 

Pretty simple and you could mass produce them but cutting one Checkerboard Cover Plate for every 2 cards!

Nautical Bookmark

Hello, Happy Tuesday! Bunny here again today and back with a Nautical bookmark!

Who doesn't like to have a book by the pool on a hot summer day! So I decided I needed a new bookmark for a couple of new books Jillian got me for Mother's Day!

I started with the Minnie Pearl Bookmark, used the Nautical INKboss Plate inked with Catherine Pooler Juniper Mist ink.  Then cut a second bookmark out of white, stamped the sentiment from You Are My Anchor Stamp Set and then die cut the waves from the Anchor's Aweigh Die Set.

I added a white chain from the same die set and the Mini Anchor die cuts so they looked like they were connected by the chain.  Then topped it off with a Tassel from the Grad Cap Tassel Trio Die Set!  Then just glue it all together with our Just Glue It liquid adhesive!
