This was a fun card! The Slimline Essentials Backdrop Die Set makes a great base for the Slimline card. Layer the Slimline Stitched Plaid Cover Plate under the Slimline Peace, Love & Rainbows Slimline Circle Window Cover Plate so that plaid peeks through! Add Mr. Hootie and Ms. Hootie with their coffee cups which is included in the Hootie the Owl Die Set. The sentiment is from OWL Ocassions Stamp Set!

Slimline Snowman!

Welcome back to the Winter Wishes Release week!

Today I am showing the Stitch Dot In & Out Circle Backdrop Die Set,

This is just like our Polka Dot Circle Backdrop, only they feature the AJVD exclusive Stitch Dot design accent on both sides of the cutting line!

So you can use both the die cut and the negative die cut in your projects, less waste that way!

I created a snowman using 2 of the circles adding the Flower Pot Die for his hat and a couple of the Sentiment Strips included in the Slimline Essentials Backdrop die set as his scarf and the base of the card!

Stamped his nose and sentiment from Snowman Sentiments, one of Jillian's new Stamp Sets to coordinate with several of her Snowman Themed dies and stamps!

The heart is from the Mini Hearts Cover Plate that was released this week as well!

The Slimline Signature Polka Dot Cover Plate just adds a whimsical touch!

Buffalo Plaid Snowflake!

Welcome to the Winter Wishes Release!!! 

What darling things Jillian has for us this release, it is all about winter! 

Which we are not really ready for Ohio winter just  yet, but we are having a beautiful fall!

Today I am using the Bold Snowflake I love this nice, clean bold look.

I paired it with the Checkerboard Cover Plate and used different color combos which totally changes the look!

I used Elizabeth Crafts Silk Microfine Glitter and I will say in person, these snowflakes are gorgeous! It is so hard to capture it in a photo! Colors used:  Warm Diamond, Cool Diamond and Blue Purple

So using the black Checkerboard gives a different effect than the Red on black, then the white on white with that Blue Purple Elizabeth Crafts Silk Microfine Glitter is a stunning combo!

Then add a sentiment from the Holiday Scripty Greetings Die Set in Silver Mirrocard and you have an easy but elegant card!
