How cute is snorkeling Hootie?

To create the waves I die cut the waves from the Anchors Aweigh 2.0 Die Set, then used the negative cuts to create the waves. I ink blended Catherine Pooler inks in Something Borrowed and Juniper Mist for the waves, Limoncello for the sun and a light handed Something Borrowed for the sky.

Dressed Hootie the Owl in his scuba gear from the new Surf's Up Summer Hootie Add On Die Set and away he goes, creating waves of happiness! The sentiment is from the Oceans of Fun Stamp Set which has great beach/water themed sentiments!

Surf's Up!

Surf is Up at our house! Pool is open and warm!

I love this new Surf's Up Summer Hootie Add On Die Set. How cute is IT!

And the Oceans of Fun Stamp Set that has great coordinating sentiments!

I used the Anchors Aweigh 2.0 Die Set to create the waves by using the negative cut of a wave, then ink blended with Something Borrowed Catherine Pooler Ink. I blended a little bit of Limoncello for the sun in the upper corner.

Then using the Elegant Edges Die Set, I created a sand dune for Hootie to stand on!

Fun but also quick and easy!

Hootie Surfer!

This past week Jillian and I were in Texas for the Stamp Scrap Art Tour show in Mesquite.

What fun we had! We took a side trip to San Antonio and saw The Alamo and The Riverwalk!

Now we can cross those off our bucket list!

It was so nice meeting new friends at the show! Thank you everyone who came and supported the vendors! It was great to get out and see people again!!

Need a quick note? Just take the largest Slimline in the set and fold in half and add your die cuts and sentiment and you have a quick, cute card measuring 3.5 x 4.25

Embossed Sunflower!

Do you need a quick but elegant card?

This is it! (the photo doesn't do it justice!)

I embossed the Sunflower and sentiment using the Sweet Sunflower Stamp Set and WOW Rich Gold Embossing Powder and WOW Embossing Ink on a New Mini Slimline Backdrop in Black cardstock.

Just put it on a Mini Slimline Card base and you have a beautiful card ready to go!

You could also use the Ranger Frosted Crystal Embossing Powder on Black cardstock, then rub white chalk over it to give it that Chalkboard effect! It is a unique but fun look too!
