This is my entry for My Pink Stamper's Design Team Challenge - 2011.
Robyn at My Pink Stamper is having a challenge to try out for two openings for her 2011 Design Team. The challenge is to make a card, scrapbook page, or other cricut project using your favorite cartridge and Robyn's favorite colors: Pink, Green and Brown. An optional color of you choice can be included too.
The recipe for this Valentine's card is:
County Life Cricut Cartridge, Pigs cut at 2 1/2 inches
Love Struck Cricut Holiday Cartridge, red lips cut at 1 inch
Lime Green card stock for the background cut at 3 3/4 by 5 1/4 to cover an A2 card
Polka Dots 5x7 Cuttlebug folder
Green polka dot wired edge ribbon from Hobby Lobby
Hand written "Hogs & Kisses"
Since I didn't have any lighter pink than what I had used for the pigs, I cut the snout out and then inked it with Studio G Light Pink ink to give it some dimension. I used brown for the mud puddle, red and blue for their bows. A black shadow makes them "pop" off the card.
