Creating with paper dolls! Paper Dolls Challenge #1

Hi,
I have been watching these two crafters and love their creations, now they have a blog together ~ Paper Dolls!
For their first challenge it is Creating with Paper Dolls!  The SVG files were created by Jessica at Jessica's Crop Corner
Thank you Jessica for the darling cuts!

Here is my project.  Since I am so into tags, I had to use a TAG!
I use the Inkssentials Craft Tags from Ranger.  This is the #8 size (6 1/4 x 3 1/8).  I used Vintage Photo then Peeled Paint distress inks on my ink blending tool.  Distressed the edges slightly with Black Soot.
Stamped the tree in Coffee Archival Ink by Ranger, sentiment,
Like branches on a Tree
our lives may grown in
different directions yet our
Roots remain the same.
bird, birdcage, butterfly and bee in Black Archival Ink.  Stamps are from the new set "God's Art" by a jillian vance design.  You can pre-order the set here.
As for the Paper Doll sting ~ it is just soooooo cute!!!  I resized it in SCAL and cut it at approx 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 as I wanted it to be 3-D around my tree which is kind of hard to see in the photo.  Then used Distress inks to color each one.  I loved this tag as it represents the fact that no matter what color you are, we are ALL God's people and our Roots remain as One.

When we did this stamp set, I never thought of that sentiments many meanings, this just proves how versitle this set can be and how this sentiment can be interpreted.
I misted the whole tag with Perfect Pearls Sparkling Sunflower.

The ribbon is seam binding that we hand dyed and the misted with Perfect Pearls Sparkling Sunflower.

Please leave me a comment and I would love to have new followers!!!
