Not so Freaky Friday Petal Card

Welcome to the last Freaky Friday of September for A Jillian Vance Design.  Join us next week for a new theme and cute projects using some new stamp sets!

Ok, so when I saw this card I had to try it!
I found it on Split Coast Stampers.

I used Eye on Halloween Stamp set for the Trick or Treat circle and Tiny Dots Background Stamp Set for the Hand Made by stamp found HERE.

So you start with four beaded circles cut from the Spellbinders Beaded Circle die.  Then you cut two circles from the Standard Circles die and cut those in half.  Then to assemble, watch the video to get exact placement. Beate does a wonderful job explaining!

Tutorial on Split Coast Stampers – Petal Card September 7th, 2011 post.

The paper I used was black card stock, Echo Park Paper The Apothecary Emporium 6 x 6 paper pad.

This photo shows how you fold opposite sides in to form the front of the card before sliding on the band.

This shows the back of the card and how the Beaded Circles interlock.

To make the band have a design, I used the Sizzix Ink-its Letterpress Plate that we got at CHA, I inked it with Adirondack Snow Cap ink then ran it thru the Cuttlebug.

Handmade stamp comes with the Tiny Dots Background Stamp set found HERE.

Thanks for checking it out today and joining us for a fun month of projects, stop by next week for a new set of projects using I am my Hair stamp set by A Jillian Vance Design!

Blessings,
Bunny
