Hello, how can it be Thursday already and the end of January!
Time just goes too fast!
Today I have a very soft floral card.
My mom and I used to do floral arranging and this was just like recreating an arrangement for me!
I wanted very soft colors so I used a pale pink cardstock for the background and flowers, cream for the branch accents and light mint cardstock for the leaves from the Poppy Die Set and eucalyptus from Fresh Foliage Die Set.
I started with the Chicken Wire Stencil and Gunmetal Stencil Butter, it gives just that metal look of a chain link fence! Using the largest Rectangle Backdrop and the largest Stitch Dot Rectangle Backdrop which the stencil fits perfectly and even had guidelines to line it up easily...Jillian thinks of everything!
I layered the leaves and eucalyptus first, then added the Budding Branches with the round ones highlighted with Diamond Stickles by Ranger for a little bit of BLING!
The Daisy and Open Daisy were cut out of the soft pink and layered as well as the Poppy including the centers for all flowers! Again wanting a monochromatic look for them.
I cut the Grateful from the Fresh Florals Cascade Die Set and used the sentiment stamp from Fresh Florals Cascade Stamp Set. I stamped on the Sentiment banner that is included in the Fresh Florals Swag Die Set because it is a little bit shorter and fit that sentiment well.
I love the elegance of this card!
