Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!!!

Well I sure am! This summer went way tooooooo fast, but I do love football season!

Of course when you live the the Buckeye State you root for the Ohio State Buckeyes!!!

I have cousins that went to OSU, work at OSU and now one of them has a son going there!

Today they play Buffalo!

So I designed this card just for the season opener!

Simple and fun to make!

Did you know our Polka Dot Dies actually pierce the paper? YES, that is REAL stitching with DMC embroidery floss on there ~ and my READING glasses got a work out!

So GO BUCKS!!!

If you started at the beginning you should have just come from Jillian's blog ~ Princess and the Paper!

Coloring these daisies is SO MUCH FUN!  I am so thankful we connected with Lisa of Lisa Lara Originals!!! Her designs are adorable! This is from her Flutters & Flowers set.

For this card I wanted to try something new ~ so after coloring the flowers and grass with my Copic markers, I used the Ranger Embossing Pen, Sticky Embossing Powder then sprinkled on the Stickles Dry Glitter!  I love this soft look!  I also added it to the center of the 3D{ie} Bow.

The Banner {die}tails is stamped with Memento Angel Pink using the NEW Background Builder Vintage Floral stamp to give a tone on tone effect ~ I just LOVE that Vintage Floral Stamp too!!!

Layered it all together with AJVD Emerald Cut {die}mond die cuts!

And for my next card . . . 

 Well the other day I had an EPIPHANY!  Our {die}luxe Jewelry Tags could make a Daisy!!!

So in to the craft room I went and how cute are these!!!

I started with our NEW Sunburst Swirls Background Builder Stamp, stamped in Versamark Dazzle ink to give it a tone on tone effect!  Then die cut 12 "petals" for the full flower and 6 "petals" each for the half flowers, connected them using a brad.  I embossed them with the Dotted Swiss embossing folder and then sanded. The Flower pot is from the Spellbinders™ Flower Pots die set.

I used Kraft paper and then went over it in Frayed Burlap Distress Stain.

The sentiment strip is from our Banner {die}tails set and sentiment from Flower Power!

Well I am just loving this new stamp set by Lisa Lara Originals ~ Flutters & Flowers!

It just just adorable and has so many options!

For this card I printed my own polka dot paper for the background layer, then used black card stock as accents.  The 3D Bow Die cut was stamped with . . .

Introducing the Vintage Floral a NEW Background Builder Stamp ~ these stamps will make backgrounds for your A2 cards and it has never been so simple! Just ink and Stamp! I chose tone on tone for my card but you can use complimentary colors or embossing, the possibilities are endless!

I SOOOOO LOVE this stamp!  All the Background Builders are red rubber cling stamps and fit an A2 sized card front.  

Then I stamped the daisies from Flutters & Flowers in Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink on Copic X-Press It paper cut with the Emerald Cut {die}mond die set and colored with my Copics. the Bee is from Bee Happy stamp set.  I used the leftover stamped paper from the bow to cut out the {die}lightfully Charming Circle which the sentiment is also from this set and stamped in the Bamboo Leaves ink pinned on with a Silver Pear Pin.

This is such a fun set, you can stamp directly on the book or project to you can make book labels to adhere on to your books or as a gift!  I used the All for You Labels stamp set, the Emerald Cut {die}mond Nested Die set and {die}signer Pocket!  That was a Happy Accident that they fit the pocket! perfect for a teacher, child or anyone!

The chevron border is from Endless Borders stamp set.

I love to see what Cath at Moxie Fab is doing ~ wait for that email every evening before I go to bed!

So when I saw they were having a Spectacular Spectacles Challenge I decided to join in!

When Jillian, my daughter who owns A Jillian Vance Design, told me she wanted a Moustache set, I was like "Oh that is a trend that will end soon".  Well 6 months later, it is getting bigger instead of going away ~ so she designed the set and I love it!  

I used the Emerald Cut {die}mond die template to stencil the inside of the smaller {die}mond die using  Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass.  It coordinated nicely with the light teal stripe in the background paper and also the solid card stock.

Then chose the top hat, spectacles and curly moustache from the Mr & Mrs Moustache Stamp set for my card!

Well since the Buckeyes are in the Final Four on Saturday, I wanted to make a little project for the occasion!

And I just got my Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist today so wanted to show it off!  Specifically ordered these colors {Crimson and Graphite} for our Ohio State Projects!

I cut a card out of black card stock and applied Beetle Black Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist for the base.  Using white paper I used the background stamp from A Jillian Vance Design Ohio Game Day stamp set with Jet Black Archival Ink and then cut with the Emerald Cut {die}mond Nested Diet set.  I then cut the inside out with the smaller die to create the Block O.  The leaves were cut out of white paper also and I used Pine Needles Distress Ink on them along with Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold Mist and the buckeye is a 3/4 inch circle punch out of brown paper with the Heirloom Gold mist too.

For the sentiment layer I used the part that was cut out of the middle of the Block O, stamped Go Bucks on it and then sprayed with Crimson Glimmer Mist.  The Black Archival ink will still show thru the Glimmer Mist which is such a neat concept!

Then used  A Jillian Vance Design Buckeye Blend Custom Divine Twine and Rinkle Ribbon to top it off!

Little Bun in the Oven!

Oh Little Boy Blue!  Loving this Little Bun in the Oven place card and pick!  This stamp set is Perfect for that Baby Shower of either a Boy or a Girl.

Spellbinders Labels 8 is perfect backdrop for the Oven on this set!  Then I put the name on a new soon to be released item ;)  The little circle stamp fits a 1 1/2 inch circle punch and then backed by a 2 1/2 inch scalloped circle punch!

This new set just darling!  

Here is the story behind the set:  Jillian's cousin was planning a baby shower for her friend. So she gave Jillian the theme, and wanted some images cut out with the Cricut so she could use them on her "pop corn boxes".  So rather than designing them to be cut out with the Cricut, Jillian designed them as a stamp set for her which coordinates with her Emerald Cut {die}mond Nested Die set!  Well it turned out soooo cute!!!  So we are having this Mini Release to honor Karen who is having a baby on Tuesday March 21st!!! So I will have a great nephew to add to my great niece!
