Sending Bunny Hugs

I have to say some cards you make, you just love and this is one of them for me.  I love the look of inlaid die cuts so this one features the Layered Flower Burst Die set and how the soft colors compliment that Bunny!
I cut the Basic Backdrop out of soft mauve then the Polka Dot Backdrop in white.  Placed the flower burst die on the white layer where I wanted them cut out, taped them in place and then cut with my Big Shot.  I used the outline of the flower to embed in the card.
Love the shape of the {die}namic Duo and {die}namic Fancy Label and it is perfect for that Bunny that Becky illustrated from the Hello Spring stamp set.  I used 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives, to pop out those layers.
Thanks for stopping by today and Think Spring!!!

Autumn Blessings

I just love a round card!  For this one I used AJVD Basic and Polka Dot Circle Backdrops, the Polka Dot dies pierce a border along the edge, this can be stitched with embroidery floss if you desire.
This card is also showing a BRAND NEW DIE!!!
Swirly Vine ~ Jillian wanted a nice elegant accent for her two flower dies and this one certainly fits the bill. It is delicate yet a great size for most cards and projects.  The Swirly Vine measures 2 x 5" and I love bending it around and those swirls are fun to stretch a little to become 3D.

I layered and adhered the brown and yellow circle die cuts, then placed the outer layer of the Layered Flower Burst die to make the recessed area for the intricate Flower Burst die cut to lay.
Then wrapped the vine around that background layer and Voila . . . a pretty and simple round card!

Clear stamps are wonderful when you want an arched sentiment, this one from Hello Sunshine. I just arranged it on the block in an arch to match the top of the circle.  I used Wendy Vecchi's Signature Archival Ink in Potting Soil to match my brown layer perfectly!

Note:  if you cut two pieces of the largest Basic Circle Backdrop, score one 1/2" from the top and adhere it to the front piece to make a card! These dies are sized 4.25 so they will fit an A2 envelop!
