Sam E and A Video!

Hello and Happy Wednesday! Bunny here with a pretty cute Sam E Snowman card.
I even did a video!

For this card, I started with a Mini Slimline Backdrop base in textured navy cardstock. I also cut another Mini Slimline Backdrop in white, then used the Elegant Edges to create my mound of snow!
I stamped the sentiment from Snowman Sentiments in Jet Black Archival ink using my MISTI.
I used Picket Fence Distress Ink and a Jillian Vance Signature Baby Blending Brush to ink up the Scattered Stars Stencil and edges of the Mini Slimline Tall Tree. I wanted it to be there but very subtle.
I used Want2Scrap Baby Bling in Black for his eyes!

Now for the fun NEW Die Set...
Feathered Friends Die Set, aren't they adorable?
We had many requests from customers at shows, to do a small bird die set, just like the birds in the Tweet Bird Cage Die Set...so Jillian did it! THEN added a mini set just for Sam E. Snowman.
But they can be used in so many ways! Like in the Mini Slimline Tall Trees too!

Enjoy my video...keep in mind, I called them Featherly Friends...not sure why I thought that is what Jillian named them! I love the Feathered Friends name!

Thank you for joining me today and have a great week!

Tall Trees Valentine

Hello and Happy Wednesday and Groundhog Day!
We are expecting an ice/snow storm and we are just ready to be snowed in!

Today I wanted to show, the Tall Trees are not just for Christmas/Winter.
I used the Mini Slimline Backdrop along with the NEW Stitched Plaid Mini Slimline Cover Plate (coming soon!) as the base, then added two Mini Slimline Tall Trees. To get the glitter Hearts, I glittered a small square of cardstock with Elizabeth Craft Designs Silk Fine Glitter in True Red, then cut with the Mini Hearts A2 Cover Plate!
The sentiment is from Valentine's Day Stamp Set and stamped in Black Soot Distress Archival on a Stitch Dot Emerald Backdrop Die Cut.
And there you have a Valentine that is more on the masculine side for your special man!
Thank you for stopping by today!

Season's Greetings ~ Stenciled Trees

Happy Tuesday everyone!
I have a fun stenciled tree card for you today!

The other day Amy Rysavy posted a beautiful stenciled tree card in one of our groups on Facebook.
I was like Oh My...Jillian's trees would work for that! She used stencils, but I just created my own with one of the die cuts from the Mini Slimline Tall Trees, just cut out of black card stock!
Amy used Pinks and Purples which were stunning, I chose the teals and greens as I love these colors blended together on a daily basis!
I took my Stitch Dot Rectangle die cut, placed my stencil on it and just started using Jillian's new Signature Blending Brushes, I didn't plan out where they were going, just randomly ink blended.
Starting with the Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers, staggering them, then the next row I used
Peeled Paint (one of my ALL time favs!) and Rustic Wilderness. All Distress Oxides as they blend so smoothly! And again staggering them randomly! I am very pleased how it came out! Simple but so pretty can colorful!
I added a sentiment die cut from Holiday Scripty Greetings in Gold metallic paper and a base of green cut with the Basic Rectangle Backdrop Die Set.

Easy Peasy! Just because you don't have stencils, look at those die cuts and see what you can do with them! It is so nice to get double use!
Check out Amy Rysavy's beautiful card and post HERE!

Thank you for stopping by today! See you tonight on Jillian's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ajillianvancedesign
for our Tuesday Night Live at 7 PM EST.
