Book Labels

This is such a fun set, you can stamp directly on the book or project to you can make book labels to adhere on to your books or as a gift! I used the All for You Labels stamp set, the Emerald Cut {die}mond Nested Die set and {die}signer Pocket! That was a Happy Accident that they fit the pocket! perfect for a teacher, child or anyone!

The chevron border is from Endless Borders stamp set.

Happy 13th Birthday Jillian!

Happy Birthday to Jillian!

Well today I became the mother of a teenager!

But she is a sweet one I do have to say ~ so far at least! lol!

This is the card I made for her and there will be an Apple Gift card in the pocket as she wants a new iPod ~ while she was onstage singing her solo at the concert, someone stepped on her backpack back stage and cracked her other one. So that is on her wish list. Which if you know her company story the iPod was what started it all! Making cards to earn money to buy her first one.

So this card showcases a bunch of her products!!!

First we used Canvas Corp paper which we LOVE!

Then the {die}signer Pocket in cream card stock stamped with a stamp from Big Money (available tomorrow in the store)

the {die}velop Foto Frames die set I use sooooo much ~ as you can tell from my cards on Monday!

The cupcake and the birthday sentiments are all from Basically Birthdays (also available tomorrow in the store)

There are two circle sentiments to fit our {die}lightfully Charming Circle on the set.

Of course a Pear Pin . . .

The bottom layer you ask? That is a sneak peek of our July die release ~ so totally fun to use and we can't wait to show you! Then it was border punched with an EK Success punch.

Release Week is here!! Take a Sneak Peek!

June Release week is HERE!!! I am so excited for these sets, they are darling and fun!

They will be available in the A Jillian Vance Design store starting Friday June 15th!

So today Bunny from Bunny Runs with Scissors, is showing us her Sneak Peeks!

As you can see I am totally addicted to our {die}velop Foto Frames and {die}alogue Bubbles Die Set

didn't realize I used it for like EVERY card! Jillian has designed most of them to fit most of our custom dies. They will be listed with each set on Friday when we show the full release!

This card features Pleas{ANT} Picnic stamp set.

Over the Hill Stamp set is going to be a THRILL to use, so much fun and so many combinations!!! This is one set Jillian has thought about for awhile but then we had several requests for one and so it was born!

Basically Birthdays is an awesome Birthday set with many different fonts and sizes of Birthday greetings! and coordinates with so many of our custom dies ~ including the sneak peek of this one coming in July!

Peacock Feathers! Well Jillian has wanted this for a while and our artist was busy so good things come to those who wait! We love this feather and it has so many possibilities!

Congratulations BreAyne and Lucas!

Today we have a wedding to attend! I have watched BreAyne grow up right in front of my eyes!

So here is the card I made them her and her groom, Lucas ~ who I might add is a real sweetie too!

They are a beautiful couple inside and out!

I cut this card out of Spellbinders Labels 21. Holly Sinoni and Beth Pingry showed Jillian and I this trick at CHA last summer, fold the card stock in half, then make sure there is a tad bit of die edge showing beyond it so then it won't cut and leaves a folded edge!

So then I cut two more smaller layers one for the monogram and one for the inside.

I used Triple Monograms by A Jillian Vance Design for the outside of the card ~ it is a double stamp set and comes with a smaller alphabet for the side letters and a larger one for the center letter.

It is such an elegant set!

Then for the inside I used the {die}Vine Wedding Cross stamp set for the sentiment and swirly end caps.

The charm is a {die}lightfully Charming Circle die stamped with Charming Occasions stamp set and pinned on with a AJVD Pear Pin!
I love how this came out and we are all excited to see Breezie and Lucas tonight!

Summer time is Pool time!

Well Summer is here! But in Ohio it has been chilly the last couple of days so we haven't enjoyed our pool as much!
For my Summer time cards, I included several fun ones!
When Jillian first started making cards, Paper Dolls was one of our favorite cartridges! So I went back to basics on this one.

I used an SVG for this (can't remember where from and can't find it on my computer!)

Old Paper Distress Ink to give it that "real" look

This is a Ranger Tag
stamped with Cobalt Archival ink, Barn Door and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks for the stars and ribbon and Crimson Archival ink for the sentiment. Perfect Pearls Mist in Perfect Pearl.

Thanks a Latte

Thanks a Latte . . .

Well another school year is over, I can't believe it! Jillian will be an 8th grader!! How time flies.

Well this year she changed schools and what a blessing it has been. She was blessed with wonderful, caring teachers who really made her days fun! Today, Friday June 1st is her first official summer vacation day! Summer STARTS now! We will miss them all!

So these cards were made for her main teachers. She had one gentleman teacher retire mid-way thru the year and gained a special lady as her long term sub. She is so sweet in addition to the other ones she had all year! So for the lady teacher, they get the damask background and for her honors math teacher Mr. Marn, he got the striped one! They will have Tim Horton's gift cards in them when they get them I just didn't have them yet when I took the photos!

We also wanted to thank her guidance counselor, she has been so sweet helping Jillian with a situation with another student who wouldn't leave her alone. So we made this card for her. My friend Angela from Creative Chaos, showed us how to modify our {die}signer Pocket die to do so much more! If you score it beyond the pre-scored lines, you can fit a Kool Aide packet in there! Also a seed packet or a Hershey bar too!
So I cut from Simply Charmed the lemons, used my Peachy Keen stamps and Charming Whimsies Stamp set along with the Charming Occasions Stamp Set and the {die}lightfully Charming Circle die and of course a Silver Pear Pin!
