Mini Slim Quilt Block

Hello, Bunny here today with a very clean and simple quilt card!

I used the Mini Slimline Backdrop Die Set and the Mini Slimline Frame Die.

I used the Square Die in the Frame Set to cut a spot for my Mini Eight Point Star Quilt Block.

 I then inlaid it into that square! I didn't realize it fit until we got them! Happy Accident!

I just like the clean lines of this card, plus the white and black creates elegance! The patterned paper is from a Photo Play 6 x 6 pad and the sentiment is from Quilt Quotes Stamp Set which has also been brought back out from The Vault! The Ribbon is seam binding and of course added a cute silver Pear Pin!

Lovely Lantern Shines!

Hello, Bunny here with a little Christmas in July post!

I am loving this Lovely Lantern die! It is so much fun to "finish" and decorate. For this card I used Dylusions Shimmer Spray in Black Marble for the Lovely Lantern, PostBox Red Shimmer Spray for the Poinsettia and Tim Holtz  Antique Bronze Mica Spray for the brick which you can really see in this photo. I used the Brick A2 Cover Plate as a stencil, then cut using the largest Stitch Dot Rectangle die.

The mat layer is the largest die from the Basic Rectangle Die Set.

 I took the card out in the sun so you can see the gorgeous shimmer on the brick design as well as the Lovely Lantern and Poinsettia.

A touch of Fresh Cut Pine behind the Poinsettia adds a finishing touch.

I used So Many Stitched Sentiment Strips and New Nest Stamp Set for the Merry Christmas sentiment!

The Poinsettia just shines with the Dylusions Post Box Red Shimmer spray. I also used the Petal Pusher Stylus and curled the petals rather than shape them normally. Just use it as you were curling ribbon!

An elegant card that was pretty simple to create!

Cool Cat!

Introducing Cool Cat Die Set!

How cute is THIS! AND we aren't even cat people!

Jillian wanted a cat to go with the Perfect Pumpkin, well here he is BUT, he is multi-use as well as 

multi-seasonal (we have a couple more projects up our sleeves for you!)

So rather than make him holiday at this time, I wanted to show how he can be used for everyday cards as well! Here he is in the Instant Photo Frame...perfect for the cat lover!

So Jillian designed this die to cut out the ears, eyes, nose and mouth, then you cut out those pieces which are a little larger and glue them to the BACK of the cat die cut. That way, they aren't so small and just takes a dab of glue or even bit of tape, then glue the finished cat to your card! Easy Peasy!

This set comes with several dies and is a LARGE die set with 11 dies, including 5 word dies that are included.

I used the Dylusions Shimmer Spray in Black Marble, you can color him/her anyway you would like with shimmer sprays, Distress Sprays, ink blending, or even markers.

The sentiment is from the Sweet Sunflower Stamp Set and Meow from the Cool Cat Die Set.

Speech bubble is from the Instant Photo Frame Die Set. Green pin dot is from Photo Play Paper.

Adorable Mini Quilt Blocks

Happy Wednesday! Bunny here today showing the new Mini Quilt Blocks.

Are they darling or WHAT???

So Jillian had so many customer requests to bring back the Quilt Dies in the last few years. 

So after a friend of mine in the sewing industry, who tragically passed suddenly, Jillian decided to bring them back and dedicate them to Joan Hawley of Lazy Girl Designs. 

I love Joan's purse patterns, they are just perfect, as if I would design the perfect purse for me! And so easy to understand. But she was very well known in the Quilting Community. She definitely will be missed.

So once Jillian decided to bring them back, she wanted to add a twist to them.

So along came the Mini version of the three quilt dies she brought back!

They are just adorable and she sized them to fit the Slimline Window Cover Plates!!!

Along with the Mini Quilt Blocks Die Set, she also added mat layer dies to the original quilt block dies.

For this card, I used the Slimline Essentials as my base, and added the Peace, Love and Rainbows Slimline Circle Cover Plate, both with white cardstock, then added black frames for the Dresden Plate Mini Quilt Blocks and paper from a Photoplay 6 x 6 pad. Inlaying the pieces! Watch our next Tuesday Night Live, July 19th at 7 pm EST, as Jillian will give you some tips on how to inlay those pieces in a quick and easy way!

I stamped the sentiment from Quilt Quotes Stamp Set, YES,  the beloved stamp set...is BACK too!

The Button and Needle is part of the Needle & Thread Die Set, also back from The Vault!

It is so much fun having these to play with again!
