Itsy Bitsy Florals!

Hello, Bunny here today with a nice all occasion card using the

I started with cream cardstock for the base and Quatrefoil in the Square Quatrefoil Create A Card Die Set
Added the Antique Sewing Machine by trimming off the machine part and leaving a shelf! Thanks to Connie Mercer for showing us this on her post here: https://blog.ajillianvancedesign.com/2023/01/two-cards-same-productsfeaturing.html

I used Kraft cardstock for the shelf as well as the arched window that is in the Stitch Dot Arched Backdrop Die Set, just a fun little die cut with a lot of possibilities.
Behind that I stenciled using the Scattered Stars Stencil and silver ink to give that nighttime look!
The mini pot is from the Mini Spring Mix Die Set, then those DARLING tiny flowers are from the brand new Itsy Bitsy Florals Die Set! The Itsy Bitsy Florals are even smaller than the Mini Mini Spring Mix blooms. They are perfect for around that window, or in the pot on the shelf! There are so many options with them as  you will see in other blog posts. The set also comes with that cute little vine!
I cut the sentiment banner from Fresh Florals Swag Die Set and used the Fresh Florals Stamp set for my sentiment stamped in Potting Soil Ranger Archival Ink.

Thanks for visiting today!

Many Thanks Plant Shelf!

Today I have a fun little Thank you card!

In January, Connie showed us how to use the Antique Sewing Machine as a shelf! What a brilliant idea!!! I didn't even "see" that when we were playing with it!
You can check out her post HERE.
So I decided we needed a Plant Shelf card!
I first started with the largest Mini Slim Backdrop cut in cream cardstock, then added the Mini Slimline Stitched Plaid Cover Plate.
I cut the Antique Sewing Machine out of Kraft cardstock, I taped the back so the small decorative pieces stayed in place. I then cut off the top to create this shelf! Then used the Weathered Wood INKboss Plate to add some texture, then ink blended Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink to bring out that texture.

I cut the cute little Mini Flower Pots from the Mini Spring Mix Die Set, using a rust colored cardstock, then ink blended with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink to "dirty" them up!
The grass is from the Hootie Spring Add On Die Set as is the little bow.
I used So Many Stitched Sentiments and the Many Thanks sentiment from the Sew Blessed Stamp Set, stamped in Jet Black Archival ink.
Thanks for joining me today! Enjoy your week!

Pretty in Pink!

Hello and Welcome to another "Bunny is obsessed with this pale pink cardstock and monochromatic cardmaking..." post.

I am, I admit I love this pale pink 110 lb cardstock that Jillian picked up at Michaels!
It is so pretty, and the photos do not do it justice!

Key point:  I used the SAME pale pink cardstock for all die cuts. Some were embossed with the Brutus Monroe Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Powder. This is like a translucent embossing powder and gives such a beautiful effect on the pale pink cardstock.
I first started with the Basic Rectangle Die Set and the Stitch Dot Rectangle largest dies. I stamped the Meandering Stitches Background Builder Cling Stamp using Wow Embossing Ink then embossed with the  Brutus Monroe Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Powder it is just gorgeous and on this pink, it seems to match it perfectly!

I cut the Embroidery Hoop from the Hoop It Up Set. Jillian came out with it back in 2014, then relaunched it in July of 2022 due to customer requests. I embossed more card stock then cut the stork scissors, Hoop screw, and the Sew word die from Antique Sewing Machine Die Set, out of it. Then embossed the Hoop with the same embossing powder: Brutus Monroe Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Powder.
Stamped using the Fresh Florals Arch Stamp on the inside of the hoop using Wow Embossing Ink and the SAME Brutus Monroe Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Powder.
I used the banner sentiment from the Fresh Florals Swag Die Set, it seemed to fit the sentiment "kind of you" perfectly.
I love how Jillian added a banner sentiment strip to three of the Fresh Florals die sets, so they can be used depending on how long you want. Each is 1/4" different in length! So if you own all three sets, you have a set of 3 sentiment banners to use with other stamps too!
I had a vision for this card, and it actually came out BETTER than my vision...normally that is not the case!
I just wish the photos did it justice!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a Blessed weekend.

New Antique Sewing Machine!

Hello! Happy Wednesday, Bunny here and I hope you had a Merry and Blessed Christmas.
We ate and relaxed a day! The weather was frightful for the weekend here but we didn't mind. Even did a movie marathon!

I am Sew in Love with this Antique Sewing Machine Die Set!
How darling is THIS!!!
I have an antique Singer machine but it is in the cabinet, which is very ornate itself.

For this card I started with a Black Cardstock base using the largest Basic Rectangle Backdrop, then layered the largest Stitch Dot Rectangle Backdrop on it after stamping in Embossing Ink using the Quilting Stitches Background Cling Stamp and Gilded Embossing Powder by Brutus Monroe.
I embossed the Sewing Machine die cut using Raven Sparkle Embossing Powder by Brutus Monroe and embossing ink.
I also embossed the heart shaped Button that is included in the Antique Sewing Machine Die Set with Red Sparkle Wow Embossing Powder.
I cut a Stitch Dot Heart Backdrop out of Vellum and ink blended using Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink.
The "sew" is one of the dies in the Antique Sewing Machine Die Set as well as the flag sentiment strip, which I cut smaller using the die. I cut the strip the original length, then laid the die on it, lined it up to the length I wanted and ran it through again! Then stamped using the Sew Blessed Stamp Set which has perfect sentiments for this Antique Sewing Machine Die Set using Jet Black Archival Ink by Ranger.
I used foam tape to pop up the sentiment.
See that little spool of thread? How adorable!!! I cut it out of gold cardstock to add a little MORE bling to this card!
