Easy Peasy Heart Shaped Card

Hello, Bunny here today with a Fun but elegant Heart Shaped Card that is SO EASY!!!

First I stated with black cardstock, stamped the Fresh Florals Bouquet Stamp with embossing ink, and used Brutus Monroe Sterling Embossing Powder for this lovely floral design.
Then took the Stitch Dot Heart Backdrop, the largest size, decided which way it fit best and cut it out using the Stitch Dot Heart die. I cut a second Stitch Dot Heart the same size only in Red Cardstock to create the back of the card. Scored the top about 1/2 inch from the edge, so that it can be glued, but easily opened but still keep the Heart shape.

I added a So Many Stitched Sentiment Strip, the longest one so I had room to cut it, you can also use our Sentiment Strip Die Set for this. I place it at an angle, taped the Stitch Dot Heart die on and took it to the Big Shot, that way it fit the Stitch Dot Heart die perfectly!
Glued that on at an angle, then created the Mini Bow and glued it.
EASY PEASY!!

These would be fun for a class room Valentine too!

Enjoy the Video!

A Bonus of using the Fresh Florals, Jillian has a great deal this week on them.
If you purchase any Fresh Florals Die Set, you can receive the Coordinating Fresh Florals Stamp Set for 50% off.
If you want all four, it will discount all four stamp sets too!

Basket of Hearts!

Hello, Happy Wednesday!
Bunny here with a Basket of Hearts!
I wanted to do a monochromatic card using this pink 110 lb cardstock, which is one of my favorites!

I started with the largest Basic Rectangle Backdrop, then layered the largest Stitch Dot Rectangle Backdrop on it AFTER using the NEW Heirloom Hearts Stencil ~ I love this new stencil~ using Brutus Monroe Glitter Glaze in Alabaster. It gives just that nice subtle shimmer!
Then I cut the Bountiful Basket out using the Easter Basket drop in to create the stitching accent, added a matching Bow from the Easter Basket Add on Die Set and popped it out with foam tape. The stems are also from that die set and the hearts are the smallest die in the Stitch Dot Heart Die Set.
I cut a sentiment strip from the So Many Stitched Sentiment Strips Die Set and stamping using a sentiment from Happy Hearts Stamp Set.  The pictures don't do it justice! The stenciled background gives it an elegant touch!

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a blessed week!

New Antique Sewing Machine!

Hello! Happy Wednesday, Bunny here and I hope you had a Merry and Blessed Christmas.
We ate and relaxed a day! The weather was frightful for the weekend here but we didn't mind. Even did a movie marathon!

I am Sew in Love with this Antique Sewing Machine Die Set!
How darling is THIS!!!
I have an antique Singer machine but it is in the cabinet, which is very ornate itself.

For this card I started with a Black Cardstock base using the largest Basic Rectangle Backdrop, then layered the largest Stitch Dot Rectangle Backdrop on it after stamping in Embossing Ink using the Quilting Stitches Background Cling Stamp and Gilded Embossing Powder by Brutus Monroe.
I embossed the Sewing Machine die cut using Raven Sparkle Embossing Powder by Brutus Monroe and embossing ink.
I also embossed the heart shaped Button that is included in the Antique Sewing Machine Die Set with Red Sparkle Wow Embossing Powder.
I cut a Stitch Dot Heart Backdrop out of Vellum and ink blended using Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink.
The "sew" is one of the dies in the Antique Sewing Machine Die Set as well as the flag sentiment strip, which I cut smaller using the die. I cut the strip the original length, then laid the die on it, lined it up to the length I wanted and ran it through again! Then stamped using the Sew Blessed Stamp Set which has perfect sentiments for this Antique Sewing Machine Die Set using Jet Black Archival Ink by Ranger.
I used foam tape to pop up the sentiment.
See that little spool of thread? How adorable!!! I cut it out of gold cardstock to add a little MORE bling to this card!

Snowman Love

Hello! Boy am I having fun with Jillian's new Signature Ink Blending Brushes!
The size is PERFECT and they blend so smooth!

To create the background I die cut a Knit Stitch Cover Plate, then placed it on my Stitch Dot Rectangle and used Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink to blend.
Then I cut out all the parts of Sam E Snowman, and added a Stitch Dot Heart for him to hug!
The sentiment is from Snowman Sentiments Stamp Set and stamped in Black Soot Archival Distress Ink. I am loving that new ink as it is a BLACKER Black than just Jet Black Archival!
Added the Basic Rectangle in Teal for the card base.
Thank you for stopping by!
