Basket of Hearts!

Hello, Happy Wednesday!

Bunny here with a Basket of Hearts!

I wanted to do a monochromatic card using this pink 110 lb cardstock, which is one of my favorites!

I started with the largest Basic Rectangle Backdrop, then layered the largest Stitch Dot Rectangle Backdrop on it AFTER using the NEW Heirloom Hearts Stencil ~ I love this new stencil~ using Brutus Monroe Glitter Glaze in Alabaster. It gives just that nice subtle shimmer!

Then I cut the Bountiful Basket out using the Easter Basket drop in to create the stitching accent, added a matching Bow from the Easter Basket Add on Die Set and popped it out with foam tape. The stems are also from that die set and the hearts are the smallest die in the Stitch Dot Heart Die Set.

I cut a sentiment strip from the So Many Stitched Sentiment Strips Die Set and stamping using a sentiment from Happy Hearts Stamp Set.  The pictures don't do it justice! The stenciled background gives it an elegant touch!

Halloween Cat in a Basket!

Happy Friday!

How cute is this Cat in a Basket?

Who knew Cool Cat would fit in the Bountiful Basket!

Just a pretty easy Mini Slimline Card created using the Mini Slimline Backdrop, then layering the printed cardstock from my stash, using the 2nd largest die from that same set.

Added the Bountiful Basket cut with a black background so it appears the Cool Cat is filling it up!

Added the Witch Hat, sprayed with Dylusions Shimmer Spray in Crushed Grape and "boo" from the Cool Cat Die set and there is your adorable Halloween Card!

Happy November! Where has this year gone, or should I say these TWO years!

Thank goodness we were able to get out and travel to shows to see you all, we loved it!

We are people people and it was hard not seeing our customers who have turned into friends!

So we also shop at the shows we do, imagine that!

And check out these darling Want2Scrap Flowers we found at the Want2Scrap booth in Fort Wayne!

Michelle, the owner who we dearly love, had just gotten them in. Jillian and I went crazy over them and first thing we both said is THE BASKET!!!

So here we are, these are just so sweet and PERFECT!

So the Bountiful Basket, doesn't always have to be used with the handle, you can chop it right off, which I did for this card. I also used the cutting drop in but taped the back to keep all the pieces in!

So many options with the Bountiful Basket Die Set, I just love it!

I added a the Candle from the Classic Candle Die Set as well as the pine and bow from the same set.

For the Candle I cut it in pale pink cardstock, and used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Kitsch Flamingo for some ink blending, also adding Fossilized Amber and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxides for the flame. The Bow is also from the Classic Candle Die Set which has so many options to it! I love how Jillian does that, the sets are so versatile and she wants people to get their moneys worth!

All on on of my favorite go to dies, the Quatrefoil Cover Plate background with a Sentiment Strip stamped in the new Distress Archival in Black Soot and the sentiment is from the Light of Christmas Stamp Set.

Brand new Bountiful Basket!

Hello! Hope you had a relaxing long weekend!

Today, I am showing you the details of the Bountiful Basket Die Set

Jillian was inspired by one of her design team members, Lisa's, use of the Basket from the Spring Hootie the Owl Add On Die Set. She used it for a Christmas basket and we fell in love with that use of it!

So off to design a larger one to be filled with so many of the AJVD sets she already has in the online store!

So the die set comes with 4 dies: a basket, 2 drop in dies for the design on the basket and a nice generous sized bow! Because every basket needs a bow!

Shown in this photo is the the Deeply Embossed Drop in die. This is her first deeply embossed set in which the embossing accents on the die is a bit deeper than normal. The deeply embossed drop in, goes in the open part of the basket and can be cut with the basket all in one pass in the die cutting machine!

In this photo you can see how I used the Stitched Plaid Open Weave drop in, same thing place your basket die on the cutting plate, cutting side facing down on your cardstock, then drop in the Stitched Plaid Open Weave drop in, place on your top plate and run through! Presto all in one pass in the die cutting machine!

Then you can cut a plain one to layer underneath for dimension. With this one in the photo, I used Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink on the Kraft to give it more depth.

Here is a completed basket element for a card, using the Holly die from the Classic Candle Die Set and the Budding Branches die topped with Liquid Pearls in Gold by Ranger.

So many of her dies will work with this, Classic Candle Die Set has great elements and are perfectly sized.

Mini Spring Mix Die Set has flowers and leaves that work perfect because of their size as well as Spring Hootie Add On Die Set and  Hootie Halloween Add On Die Sets too!

Just so much fun and also has that element of the Stitched Plaid which is Jillian's best sellers in A2 & Slimline Cover plates!

The options are endless!!
