Sweet Christmas Tag

Hello, the countdown is on!
Today I have a Sweet little Christmas tag.
I made this for our mailman's gift bag!
We have a new one this year so we don't know his candy preference, the last one loved Plain M & Ms!
Hoping this one likes our choices of Hershey Kisses and Reese Nutcrackers!
So I whipped up this quick but very sweet tag!

Using the Minnie Pearl Tag cut in Kraft, I stenciled Jillian's new Ornamental Octagon 6 x 6 Stencil in Brutus Monroe Unicorn Horn for that slight look of a snowflake!
Added some Fresh Cut Pine branches and the new Feathered Friends, smallest birds. I embossed using Red Sparkle Wow Embossing Powder on Red cardstock. I just wanted to add a little bling to the birds.
I cut two Christmas Tiny Tags and using Season's and Greetings,  then pinned them onto the Scarlet Seam Binding, with a Silver Pear Pin. Easy Peasy just like I like cards and tags!

Wishing you all a Merry and Blessed Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanza!

Christmas Bird Cage

Happy Tuesday before CHRISTMAS!!!
Are you ready? We are as ready as we will ever be!

Who doesn't love a Holiday Birthday Cage?
I decided it needed a nice gold bird too!
I used WOW Embossing Ink to stamp the Scattered Snow Background Builder Stamp and then Clear Matte Embossing Powder also by WOW.
Then ink blended Peacock Feathers over it using the new Signature Blending Brush! They are so smooth and nice to use!
I ink blended a little Black Soot Distress Oxide on the leaves of the Poinsettia. Added some stickles to the Budding Branches with some Fresh Cut Pine. The Gold Bird just adds that festive flavor with a 3D Mini Bow on top!
Wish you and yours a very Happy and Blessed Holiday Season.

Winter Cardinal

Just a simple holiday card. Using the new Stitch Dot Hexagon Backdrop Die Set, I created a frame.
The great thing about this set as well as the  Stitch Dot Circle Backdrop Die Set, is you will get that double stitching accent when using two dies to create a frame! Laying them together plus this feature saves you from having to purchase a frame set!
The metallic cardstock is actually silver, which appears gold in this phone, either color adds an elegant touch to this card.
I used the new Signature Jillian Vance Ink Blending Brush and Distress Oxide Black Soot to darken the Cardinal just a bit. This is the new Cardinal Die Set that comes with a branch (not used in this project) and two wings!
Added a piece of Pine and a  berry branch from the Budding Branches and you have a simple but elegant card. The Sentiment is from Cardinals Appear Stamp Set.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you are enjoying the wonder of the season!

Pine and Lights!

This is a fun card featuring the Christmas Lights Die Set is kind of a throw back Thursday card because these dies have been a staple in the AJVD line since 2015! That is 5 YEARS! Time flies, just like I can't get over it is October today!
This year, although strange as flown by as well. We hvae enjoyed being home but SURE miss shows and seeing Jillian's beloved customers!

So for my lights I used Elizabeth Crafts Silk Microfine Glitter in True Red. If you haven't tried this, you NEED too!
I use their Roll Adhesive on the front of my card stock, die cut, then add the glitter and rub for a gorgeous finish! Their colors are just so yummy! Els has many videos showing this on her YouTube Channel.

Add some Fresh Cut Pine Branches ~ Love these classic dies from 2017 they work with so many other dies we have! Add that 3D Mini Bow...another throwback from 2016 that is reduced size of the original 3D Bow Jillian did in 2012!!!
AND then featuring her NEW Holiday Scripty Greetings! These dies are just so fun! They have a fine scripty layer and also a larger shadow layer, use them how you wish! I love the delicate look without the layer.
All on an elegant Slimline Stitched Plaid Cover Plate layered on the largest Slimline Essentials Backdrop!
Easy peasy, yet elegant and can be mass produced easily!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Rustic Christmas Card!

Happy Monday, Bunny here!
So you have probably already noticed, that I love to use black and kraft papers, they just work so well together and show off this pretty cardinal too!
So many things about this card remind me of my dad. He was a logger and timber man and loved feeding the birds and building them houses. One summer he built several that my mom and Jillian painted!
We are blessed to have come from a crafty, artistic family.

This card would make a great Christmas card that looks more complicated than it really is.
Houndstooth is such a classic design and also makes a great stencil. Any of Jillian's cover plates can be cut and used as stencils so dual duty! She has also lowered her cover plate prices to a very affordable, $21.95.
The Rustic Wood Slice and pine does give the rustic, homey feel of winter! The sentiment is stamped with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink from the Cardinals Appear Stamp Set.
Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy your week!

It's a Nativity CARD!

Hello, Bunny here, so what did you think of the new release?
I love it ALL!!! There is still time to enter to win, so start with Tracey's post on Tuesday HERE and follow along until Saturday's post for the Rafflecopter giveaways at the bottom of each post!

Today, I am showing how the Nativity Bookmark can be used for a card as well!

I took the Checkerboard Cover Plate and cut it along one of the vertical lines to create a panel to cover half the card, then added Fresh Cut Pine and  Layered Poinsettia using the Poinsettia Die Set that is a classic and can also be cut in yellows to make a fall sunflower!
I embossed the Nativity Bookmark with Wow Primary Black Embossing Powder using Wow Embossing Ink.
Pretty simple and you could mass produce them but cutting one Checkerboard Cover Plate for every 2 cards!
Have a Blessed Sunday!
