Sweet Christmas Tag

Hello, the countdown is on!

Today I have a Sweet little Christmas tag.

I made this for our mailman's gift bag!

We have a new one this year so we don't know his candy preference, the last one loved Plain M & Ms!

Hoping this one likes our choices of Hershey Kisses and Reese Nutcrackers!

So I whipped up this quick but very sweet tag!

Using the Minnie Pearl Tag cut in Kraft, I stenciled Jillian's new Ornamental Octagon 6 x 6 Stencil in Brutus Monroe Unicorn Horn for that slight look of a snowflake!

Added some Fresh Cut Pine branches and the new Feathered Friends, smallest birds. I embossed using Red Sparkle Wow Embossing Powder on Red cardstock. I just wanted to add a little bling to the birds.

I cut two Christmas Tiny Tags and using Season's and Greetings,  then pinned them onto the Scarlet Seam Binding, with a Silver Pear Pin. Easy Peasy just like I like cards and tags!

Shimmery Lovely Lantern

Hello!

Today I wanted to share a card using the Lovely Lantern. I love this new Holiday die Jillian came out with, but not just for holidays, she created a spring card using it too, you can find it HERE!

There are so many options of finishes for it. 

Just plain cardstock, shimmer spray, embossing powder, glitter glaze, stencil butter and glitter just to name a few!

For this card, I used the Basic Rectangle as a base, then used Tim Holtz Shimmer Spray in Tarnished Brass and the Brick Cover Plate as a stencil. 

Then using some of Dyan's Shimmer Sprays, sprayed the Lantern in Black Marble, Holly in Cut Grass and light bulb from the Christmas Light Shaker Die Set using Tim Holtz Antiqued Bronze. All giving such a different look!

Yes, the lantern works great with the Christmas Light Shaker Die Set too!

Added the Holly and Swirls, and using Christmas Red Stickles, I accented the berries.

Tied a seam binding bow and then pinned on Christmas Tiny Tags with a Pear Pin. 

This stamp set revived, out of the vault, from customer requests, now comes with dies as well as Pear Pins.

Glory to God!

Can you just imagine being one of those Wise Men the Angel told about Jesus' birth! 

Like how amazing would that be! This card I wanted it to look like that night (or months) they took the trip to meet the baby Jesus!

Using Tim Holtz Distress Inks on a manila folder, I was able to get that effect.

Even used the Angel stamp on the Tiny Tag.  Used Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black for the image and sentiments and silver embossing powder for the star (which in the photo is hard to see).
