All kinds of Swirls!

Quick and Easy Swirly Heart Card.

I cut the Swirly Heart layer as well as the outer layer at the same time centering on the Sizzix Magnetic Platform.  Then cut a white heart frmo the outer die and scored 1/2 inches from top to make a hinged the back.  TADA . . .a see through card!  Used Happy Valentine's Day sentiment stamped in Ranger Archival Wendy Vecchi Signature Red Geranium. Layered the Swirly Vine die cut behind and Daisy diecut on the front and DONE! Quick, easy and elegant! AJVD products used:

Love is Priceless

First I want to wish Jillian and A Jillian Vance Design a Happy 3rd Anniversary!!! Yes it has been THREE years since she started her stamp business! FOUR years including her Cardmaking business! And on to the card . . . Love sure is Priceless.

 When  Jillian was working on this stamp set ~ True Love, she thought of using the Barcode Background Builder to go with the "priceless" sentiment along with options for using that word too!  I stamped the Barcode Background Builder using Jet Black Archival ink by Ranger, as well as layering the Hearts Background Builder over it in Ranger's Clear embossing powder ~ hard to see in the photo but very fun in person. The polka dot "ribbon" is from the True Love stamp set as well.  I popped up the fancy labels with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L with their Black Foam Squares ~ love their products! True Love Stamp Set . . . not just for Valentine's Day! AJVD products used for this card:

Love . . .

Well I know we are less than a week from Christmas . . . Are you ready?!? Well for us, we are tired of the commercialism of it but we feel it is all about . . . the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  So please remember the reason for the season. and Have yourself a Merry Christmas! Today I am posting a Valentine as Christmas is about love! I just love this new die!!! It is the Swirly Heart Die Set designed by little old me! Jillian wanted a "fancy, swirly heart die so I set out to do it myself!  And TaDa . . .here it is! It comes as a 2 pc set, the mat layer and the heart/floral/swirly layer. I also clear embossed (by Ranger) the Vintage Vine Background Builder on the Polka Dot Backdrop Layer.  Used Ranger Black Super Fine embossing powder for the Love sentiment from AJVD True Love Stamp Set. To complete the look, I pinned on a Tiny Tag using a Black Pear Pin on the black vintage seam binding.
